About The Position

Moby is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven, competitive Account Executive who thrives on building something meaningful in a growing telecom disruptor. This is a build-the-market, win-the-deal, own-the-relationship role. As a Moby Account Executive, you will work directly with the executive team to identify, pursue, and close revenue opportunities across hospitality, senior care and high-density multifamily properties in Calgary, Edmonton. You’ll play a key role in expanding our fibre infrastructure footprint and securing multi-year service agreements. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B direct sales experience
  • Telecommunications / Internet sales experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Competitive and disciplined
  • Resilient and persistent when deals get hard
  • Enjoys the chase, but also protects and grows what they win
  • A true hunter who enjoys generating and closing new business
  • Comfortable engaging Executive decision-makers
  • Confident navigating longer sales cycles and technical conversations
  • Self-managed with a strong and organized sales pipeline
  • Motivated by targets, accountability, and performance metrics
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal updates
  • Professional, polished, and credible in executive settings

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, engage, and close new business within Calgary and Edmonton markets
  • Secure multi-year telecommunications service agreements with hospitality, senior care and multi-unit dwelling decision-makers
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new revenue opportunities as Moby expands its fibre footprint
  • Translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for IT leaders and executives
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the full client lifecycle
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and our NOC / technical teams
  • Represent Moby at industry events, seminars, and client education sessions
  • Provide concise, performance-focused updates in weekly sales meetings
