This position is responsible for greeting and registering patients, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and pulling and filing medical charts. The role requires working evening clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with shift times varying between 11 am-7 pm or 3 pm-7 pm based on clinic needs. Mondays and Thursdays are also part of the schedule, but these days may fluctuate. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately obtain patient demographic and insurance information, screen for insurance eligibility and pre-certification, and assist in identifying self-pay patients for financial assistance referrals. This role also involves maintaining open communication with other departments and clinical staff, and assisting with the training of new employees.
