About The Position
Shell Hebert Career & Technical Academy empowers lives through education and opportunity. We serve high-school and adult learners through hybrid and online career training programs designed to build skills, confidence, and employability. We’re looking for a passionate and community-driven Student Recruiter to help connect youth and adult learners with our educational programs. The right candidate will enjoy outreach, relationship-building, and helping students take their first step toward success. This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys networking and making a difference in the community.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, proactive, and mission-driven.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in recruitment, admissions, community outreach, or customer service (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach by phone, email, and in-person at community events.
- Assist prospective students with enrollment questions and application steps.
- Represent the Academy at schools, churches, and workforce events.
- Maintain records of contacts, applications, and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support enrollment targets.
