About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately processing admission data for undergraduate, graduate, and online applicants in a timely manner. The specialist will also complete transcript request orders, support transfer articulation efforts by entering coursework, auditing evaluations, establishing equivalencies, and maintaining the transfer equivalency database. Additionally, the role involves gathering data, analyzing results, generating reports to measure success, identify improvements, refine processes, and generate workflows. The specialist will actively contribute to meetings, representing the department, even in the absence of the Associate Director.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of enrollment services in higher education
  • Knowledge of file management and experience with document imaging system
  • Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows, Salesforce CRM, Image Now and Ellucian Colleague, and the ability to learn new systems
  • Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open office environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines, be detail oriented and handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process all required admission data for undergraduate, graduate and online applicants in a timely manner.
  • Complete transcript request orders for participating student populations.
  • Support transfer articulation efforts through entering coursework in Colleague, auditing the output of the AI evaluation tool, collaborating with academic areas to establish equivalencies and maintaining the transfer equivalency database.
  • Gather data, analyze results, and generate reports to measure success and to identify improvements, refine processes, and generate workflows.
  • Actively contribute to meetings by representing the department, including in the absence of the Associate Director.
