About The Position

This position will be focused on recruitment and enrollment in the School of Science and Engineering. They will coordinate on-campus recruiting events, speak with prospective students, coordinate efforts with departments in the school. They will also be trained in current best practices by EMG and work with EMG to maximize recruiting efforts for our students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution
  • 1-3 years of work-related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute all aspects of the prospect management system and work with the Admissions team and the School to develop and execute data-informed recruitment plans.
  • Represent the School to a wide variety of constituents, including prospective students and their families related to the sciences not generic admissions presentations.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment programs and events, deliver information sessions, and conduct individual appointments with prospective students.
  • Make outbound calls to families interested in enrolling in our school, serving as an enrollment subject matter expert during the recruitment process.
  • Nurture relationships with admitted students to encourage their enrollment at our university through personalized, customized engagement with prospective students and their families.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service and data-driven decision making.
  • Provide escalated contact support for enrollment and academic placement, assisting students and families throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
  • Serve as a dedicated single-point-of-contact for both academic and non-academic support, from initial interest through enrollment.
  • Serve as a dedicated resource within the School, providing support for University-wide campaigns, visits, and events.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of trends and changes in curriculum and the specific disciplines represented within the School, and advise constituents on the breadth and depth of opportunities available within the school and at our university.
  • Act as a liaison between the school and the EMG to connect with other areas of the university throughout the enrollment process to resolve any issues that may impede enrollment.
  • Remain up-to-date with changes in enrollment policies and guidelines, communicating these changes to families.
  • Engagement remains through the end of the first semester.
  • Supervise student employees only.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
