About The Position
The Visual Arts Instructor provides instruction in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and design while encouraging artistic expression and creativity. The instructor guides students in developing technical skills and appreciation for the visual arts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or related field.
- Teaching certification where required.
- Professional portfolio demonstrating artistic ability.
- Experience teaching or working in the arts.
- Drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art skills.
- Creative thinking.
- Classroom management skills.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of art history and contemporary practices.
- Assessment and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons.
- Teach traditional and digital art techniques.
