About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Troy, OH. This is an individual class for a 5-year-old child who is a beginner in English. The lessons will focus on practical communication for everyday life, including asking for help, expressing basic needs, and learning safety and emergency language. The student enjoys learning through games and would benefit from developing simple conversational skills. The teacher will deliver tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons, develop curricula based on the learner's proficiency and goals, monitor progress, and communicate professionally.
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- A degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
