About The Position

Roncalli High School on the southside of Indianapolis is hiring an English teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves teaching for a school term of four (4) quarters, being available 15 minutes before and after the school day, and teaching a schedule of classes as determined by the administration. The assignment may also include emergency substitution duty, extra-curricular activities, and extra duty assignments. The teacher will contribute to the professional growth of the school faculty through active participation in faculty meetings, committee activities, in-service days, and other initiatives aimed at improving instruction. Additionally, the teacher must meet all educational and professional requirements set forth by the State of Indiana and Roncalli High School.

Responsibilities

• Teach for a school term of four (4) quarters.
• Be available 15 minutes before the start of the school day and 15 minutes after the end of the school day.
• Teach a schedule of classes as determined by the administration.
• Potentially perform emergency substitution duty, extra-curricular activities, and extra duty assignments.
• Contribute to the professional growth of the school faculty through attendance and participation at faculty meetings, committee activities, in-service days, and other work aimed at the improvement of instruction.
• Meet all educational and professional requirements set forth by the State of Indiana and Roncalli High School.
