About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Wakefield High School for SY27. It involves implementing instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, and maintaining accurate student records. The role also requires collaboration with school administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members, as well as monitoring and assessing student achievement and attending ongoing professional learning and meetings.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in English.
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
