English Teacher, Secondary - LTS
About The Position
The Easton Area School District seeks an English Teacher as a long-term substitute at Easton Area High School for the second semester of the 2026–2027 school year. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references, and related experience; demonstrate knowledge of current educational research; successfully complete a series of interviews; and meet all local requirements. External applicants must submit a complete electronic application packet through the District’s applicant tracking system. The packet includes a Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application, letter of interest, resume, three current letters of recommendation dated within one year, a copy of the teaching certificate, and college or university transcripts. Internal candidates need only submit a letter of interest electronically. The successful candidate must provide an Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
