About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time English Teacher for a high school setting in Grandview, MO. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum, engaging students in interactive, project-based learning experiences, assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback, fostering a supportive and collaborative classroom environment, participating in school-wide events and activities, collaborating with teachers and staff to support student development, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Missouri teaching certificate REQUIRED
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred
- School-based teaching experience preferred, not required
