T26/27 ENGLISH LEARNER TEACHER (Hoffman-Boston ES)
About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Hoffman-Boston Elementary School. The role requires a candidate with or eligible for Virginia licensure, an Elementary Education endorsement, and English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification. Experience in teaching, knowledge of best instructional practices, ability to integrate technology, and experience in educational and instructional leadership are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as a team member, be flexible, dependable, and highly organized, with a desire to work with a diverse community of learners. Excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures are also important.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Elementary Education endorsement.
- English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
- Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
