About The Position

Queens Christian Alliance Church (QCAC), a multicultural, multigenerational church in Flushing, Queens, is seeking a lead pastor to shepherd the church and its English-speaking congregation. The church’s mission is to Believe, Belong, Become, and Bless, and it serves English, Spanish, and Mandarin congregations in a culturally diverse community. The Lead Pastor will preach to the English congregation, shepherd the church, foster growth through discipleship and evangelism, and lead church staff. The role also involves leading the Elder Board and Governing Board and overseeing the Building Team. QCAC’s staff includes an Executive Pastor, Spanish Pastor, Mandarin Pastor, Youth Pastor, church administrator, and building and grounds maintenance personnel. The church describes its desired pastoral character in accordance with the biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1–7, Titus 1:6–9, and 1 Peter 5:1–3. The position requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance. Applicants should submit an application including a testimony, resume, and other relevant background information. QCAC’s English congregation is its main congregation and has a mixed demographic that leans Asian. The church’s three congregations include people across life stages, from babies and students to young adults and working-class families. Its ministries include worship teams, youth programs, young adult and home groups, women’s fellowship, prayer meetings, and English Second Language classes. The church is based in Flushing, Queens, an ethnically diverse area with significant opportunities for outreach and evangelism. The base cash salary is $60,000–$70,000. The total compensation package is equivalent to $95,000–$115,000 and includes on-site parsonage housing and health insurance.
