About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide in-person lessons to our clients. This specific role involves teaching an adult individual in Summerville, SC, focusing on intermediate English proficiency. The student requires assistance in understanding and participating in conversations, both one-on-one and in group settings. Lessons are structured with clear objectives, recaps, and short-term goals, incorporating conversation practice, games, and focusing on grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, slang, and business communication. The student is also interested in topics such as polite interaction, parenting, healthcare, sustainability, shopping, and daily life in a new country.
Requirements
- Native or near‑native written and spoken proficiency in English
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second‑language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of English teaching experience
