About The Position
Radford High School is seeking a Grade 10 & 11 English Language Arts Teacher. The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. Minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor's Degree. If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license. You must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department and satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements annually. It is your responsibility to ensure the program you enroll in is aligned with the teaching line you are hired in. Upon hire, you will need to have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
- Must enroll in a Teacher's Education Program if hired without one and obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years.
- Must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements annually.
- Ensure the enrolled program is aligned with the teaching line hired in.
