Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Non-certified candidates must have at least 12 college credits in English/ELA and provide a transcript demonstrating subject-area knowledge
- 1–2 years of direct teaching experience in ELA or AP Literature at the middle or high school level, preferably in an urban educational environment

Responsibilities
- Teach English Language Arts to middle and high school students, including 8th Grade ELA and AP Literature, through engaging, rigorous, and standards-aligned instruction.
- Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, academic growth, and strong literacy skills.
- Assess student learning, monitor academic progress, and provide instructional support to help students meet learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute proactively to the school community and instructional team.
