Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active Tennessee teaching license/certificate with the appropriate ELA endorsement
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in urban or charter school settings strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned with the school’s curriculum, grade-level standards, and individual student learning needs.
- Establish a structured, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, positive behavior, and student engagement.
- Use varied instructional strategies, resources, and technology to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Regularly assess student progress and use data to provide targeted intervention, enrichment, and acceleration.
