About The Position

Phoenix Academy, located in High Point, N.C., opened in 1998 and serves students in K-12. This role offers the opportunity to connect passion with purpose. The K-12 building provides opportunities to grow with children and gain exposure to all grade levels and experiences. The school emphasizes a safe learning environment with various security measures including fobs for entrances, CPI crisis training, glass films, panic buttons, safety drills, the 'Say Something' program, a school-wide behavior recognition program, and a safety team. Phoenix Academy was recently recognized by local news for its OCS program and promotes from within whenever possible. It also offers an NHA Dean Prep program for employees interested in leadership and provides new employee and beginning teacher professional development, Dean coaching, and a Mentor/Mentee program for new teachers and employees.
