About The Position

This is a 1.00 FTE Contract D Teacher position for English & Humanities at Oromocto High School. The contract duration is from August 31, 2026, to February 1, 2027, with a possibility of extension. Applicants will be contacted by the school's principal and/or Director of Schools to discuss position details and transitional support. Positions will be offered in accordance with Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement, prioritizing teachers with recall rights, then certified teachers without recall rights, and finally supply teachers with a Local Permit.

Requirements

• Certified Teacher (without recall rights) or Supply teacher with a Local Permit (if no teachers with recall rights apply).
• Ability to provide a cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and 3 references with one being the most recent supervisor.
• Adherence to the NBTF Collective Agreement.

Nice To Haves

• Teachers with Recall Rights (priority for selection).

Responsibilities

• Teach English & Humanities subjects.
