Participants are paid for recording short, casual voice clips where they naturally mix English with Chinese, reflecting real-life conversational patterns. The role involves speaking naturally about daily life, opinions, or any topic that comes to mind, without scripts or predefined scenarios. The key is to capture authentic language use, including mid-sentence language switching.
Requirements
- Fully bilingual - fluent or native in both English and Chinese.
- Naturally mixes English and Chinese when speaking.
- Access to a device for recording (phone is acceptable).
- Ability to record in a quiet room with no background music, TV, traffic, or other people talking.
- Clear voice, close to the mic, one speaker only, no echo.
- Quiet, clean audio is essential for approval.
Nice To Haves
- A headset or earbuds with a mic can help but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Record 1-2 minute voice clips responding to a prompt or reacting to a short video.
- Speak naturally, switching between English and Chinese the way you normally would in everyday conversation.
- Complete a few clips per recording session.
