About The Position

This is a .4 FTE non-continuing contract position for an English (.2 FTE) and Social Studies (.2 FTE) Teacher at Mountlake Terrace High School that begins upon hire through the end of the current 2026-27 school year ONLY. Preference will be given to candidates that currently have an ELL, ESOL, or Bilingual endorsement. SIOP training and GLAD training offered by the Multilingual Education Department will be required for all new employees unless they can show evidence of having completed SIOP and GLAD training previously. Training will need to be completed within the first two years of employment.

Requirements

Washington State Teaching Certificate with a Social Studies Endorsement and an English Language Arts endorsement, or the ability to obtain the proper endorsement(s) prior to the position start date.
