About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a talented Engineering Test Technician Level B to support engineering and development test activities for complex electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems. The selected candidate will perform moderately complex technical assignments involving test setup, execution, troubleshooting, data collection, and equipment maintenance in support of engineering, integration, qualification, and production activities. This role works from established procedures, engineering documentation, schematics, drawings, and test plans, and partners closely with engineers, program teams, and other technicians to ensure accurate, timely, and safe test operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex technical assignments involving test setup, execution, troubleshooting, data collection, and equipment maintenance in support of engineering, integration, qualification, and production activities.
• Work from established procedures, engineering documentation, schematics, drawings, and test plans.
• Partner closely with engineers, program teams, and other technicians to ensure accurate, timely, and safe test operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties.
• Work under direct supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures.
• Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures.
• Apply a Lean, continuous improvement mindset.
