About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking an Engineering Test Lab Supervisor for 2nd shift. The Engineering Test Lab Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in performing test lab functions. Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

  • Direct and advise personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of materials
  • Compile and analyze test information to determine the operating efficiency of the process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions
  • Confer with engineers to conduct analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests
  • Adjust formulas and processes based on test results
  • Test and analyze sample products
  • Prepare test protocols for use by laboratory personnel in conducting tests
  • Conduct research to develop custom products and investigates complaints on existing products
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet testing schedules
  • Recommend measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment
  • Analyze and resolve, or assist workers in solving work problems
  • Maintain time and testing records
  • Calibrate, maintain, and diagnose issues for test instrumentation to provide accurate test data for engineers
  • Specify and submit purchase requisitions for test equipment
