We are seeking an Engineering Technology Student, for our Solar District that is available for 8-16 months starting September 2026.

Requirements

  • Strong desire to work in a solar design function.
  • Understanding of PV and BESS systems (basic electrical concepts, module configuration, and commissioning processes).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for solar projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, including dashboards in Excel or Power Bl.
  • Knowledge of PM4+ or similar project management platforms for document control and workflow tracking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills to support technology evaluations and process improvements.
  • Superior attention to detail for QA/QC documentation and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining PM4+ workflows, including uploading RFls, submittals, and managing revision control for project documentation.
  • Support the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly QA/QC audits, plans, and ITP templates for solar and BESS projects, ensuring alignment with client and internal standards, and maintain PM4+ for the ITP log and handover.
  • Compile and analyze project progress data, update dashboards, and generate weekly status reports for the project team using Power Bl.
  • Conduct research on solar technology trends and best practices to support engineering and commissioning activities.
  • Identify gaps in document workflows and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
