Standard Motor Products-Independence, KS is recruiting for an Engineering Technician. This is a salaried non-exempt position. Successful candidate should possess a degree in an electronic field and/or 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting and PLC programming electronics. Experience with basic electrical/electronic test equipment to maintain/repair production equipment and test systems will be required, as will a strong knowledge of pneumatics controls. VB, Cadence, IA and Motorman robotics experience a plus. Normal hours are M-TH 6:00am-4:30pm, with frequent Friday and some Saturday overtime.
