Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical school diploma (minimum two-year program) in a technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Experience supporting CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, tooling, or production processes
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
  • Proficiency with CAM programming software; Siemens NX preferred, Mastercam accepted
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods
  • Strong computer, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience
  • Experience with EDM drilling or CNC machining operations
  • Experience using PC-DMIS, Geomagic, or similar metrology software
  • Experience creating manufacturing documentation and work instructions
  • Prior experience supporting continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Support CNC EDM drilling and machining operations through machine setup, calibration, and process improvements
  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining and EDM programs
  • Design, develop, and qualify tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes
  • Conduct research and development trials, data collection, and process analysis
  • Perform first article and first piece inspections
  • Troubleshoot production issues and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing data to improve process performance and quality
  • Train operators on equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes
  • Create and maintain work instructions, technique sheets, specifications, and process documentation
  • Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and company standards
