Requirements
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Nice To Haves
- Shadow experienced technicians to learn existing technician responsibilities, laboratory procedures, equipment maintenance practices, and organizational processes.
- Gradually assume technician duties under appropriate supervision as proficiency increases.
Responsibilities
- Assembling and building cables and mechanical prototypes
- Soldering components onto custom PCBs
- Organizing laboratory spaces and work areas
- Maintaining and improving inventory tracking
- Assisting with calibration tracking and equipment management
- Supporting equipment evaluation, maintenance, and repair efforts
