About The Position

This position involves tuning and testing filters and electronic components. Technicians will utilize specification sheets, drawings, blueprints, network analyzers, and computer programs to determine filter capacity and function. Adherence to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOP) and Automated Testing Procedures (ATP) is required. The role includes conducting quality assurance spot checks and tests for product accuracy. Equipment used includes, but is not limited to, Network Analyzer, calipers, computer, continuity tester/multimeter, microscope, soldering irons, plotter, calculator, wrenches, and tuning instruments. Finished products will be cleaned according to established procedures, and measurements of tolerances are necessary. Job-specific data must be recorded on forms, logs, time sheets, and other required documentation. Work must be completed with accuracy and speed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED plus related experience such as television repair or electronics training.
  • Mathematical skills required with emphasis on the ability to compute rates, ratios and percentage.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret bar graphs and instructions.
  • Thorough knowledge of calibration, reading drawings, blueprints and schematics.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous soldering experience or skills preferred.

Responsibilities
