About The Position

The Engineering Technician is a versatile, multi-functional team member responsible for supporting engineering and design teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate preparation, control, and deployment of Manufacturing Information (MI) to the production floor, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office and engineering/document management systems
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, drafting, or other related field is preferred
  • Previous eperience in a manufacturing or engineering support environment preferred
  • Previous experience with Manufacturing Information (MI) systems
  • Previous experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, document control systems, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering and design teams with daily technical and administrative activities
  • Prepare and deploy Manufacturing Information (MI) to the production floor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and control engineering drawings, documentation, and revision records in accordance with company standards
  • Support the management and distribution of manufacturing information across relevant teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance engineering processes and workflows
  • Assist with departmental functional development projects and process enhancements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering department data and records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality, to support operational goals
