About The Position

The Engineering Technician is a member of the Process Engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in root cause analysis, evaluate non-conforming material, and determine product disposition. The Engineering Technician coordinates dispositions cross-functionally with Process Engineers as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with Injection equipment and processes, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, planning, work instructions to ensure product conformance.
• Coordinate scrap dispositions with internal engineering and quality teams.
• Evaluate non-conforming parts; work with engineers on technical dispositions, and document rework steps.
• Provide recommendations to existing and new processes in order to improve overall process efficiency.
• Conduct internal and supplier Quality System audits.
• Review & manage / maintain Quality metrics, charts and/or graphs.
• Analyze data to develop top level improvement plans.
