The Engineering Technician will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and completing engineering and production audit tests. This role involves checking raw data for accuracy, documenting test completion, and assisting in training. The technician will also develop software solutions for new standard tests, create analysis templates, and handle data adjustments. Additionally, the role includes executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, leading repairs, and suggesting improvements to housekeeping and maintenance schedules. The technician will also develop calibration methods and test methods, including creating and modifying test control programs, and suggesting efficiency improvements to laboratory processes. Administrative duties include documenting test requests, managing MRO and inventory purchases, coordinating shipping, and preparing concept sketches for equipment modifications. Other duties as required.
