Opportunity Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to support Nextest internal systems across all product lines. This role provides hands-on support for test systems, troubleshooting, and sustaining high-performance standards for engineering and NPI pilot-line operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while partnering across engineering, production, IT, and external vendors to keep systems running at peak performance.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise supporting engineering test systems and test cells.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in complex systems.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance data to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across engineering, production, and IT teams.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain technical records and support knowledge transfer.
- Commitment to ESD safety practices and maintaining high equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Nextest internal test systems and testcells across all product lines.
- Support remote engineers by providing internal test system assistance and issue resolution.
- Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of test systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functionality of critical hardware.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues in test systems using logs and performance data.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to support system integration and functionality.
- Liaise with vendors and external partners as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed technical records and update documentation to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Adhere to and help enforce ESD safety practices to protect sensitive equipment.
