About The Position
Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development. Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests and collects data. The salary for this role will be $75,000 annually and offers a competitive benefits package.
Requirements
- AAS degree, degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent technical experience
- Experience with Computer software such as MS Word, Excel and Adobe PDF
- Experience with reading and understanding electrical schematics
- Experience with Soldering and Wiring
- Experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes
Nice To Haves
- Power supply experience a plus
- Altium or equivalent PCB Design software experience a plus
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC type testing as per industry standards
- Understand and modify Electrical schematics, diagrams and technical documents
- Assist Design engineers in verifying product performance and writing of reports to describe the verification
- Creating and building test fixtures
- Wiring up of panel instrumentation
- Test, troubleshoot and repair analog and digital circuitry down to component level
- Create and perform test cases as per product feature requirements
- Maintain lab equipment
