About The Position

Technologist, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC. The role involves providing on-site subject matter expertise in various aspects of facility and infrastructure projects, including requirement definition, programming, planning, design development, integration, documentation, and project/construction management. The technician will also provide environmental support and technical advice on facility requirements and environmental compliance. The hours of support are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of technical project/construction support.
Ability to pass background investigation at level of Public Trust.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrable experience with reading and interpreting design and construction standards
Demonstrable understanding of applicable OSHA standards
Demonstrable understanding of UFC’s

Responsibilities

Provide on-site subject matter expertise in performing requirement definition, programming, planning, design development, integration with existing physical infrastructure and other projects, documentation, and project and construction management of facility and infrastructure projects of varying scopes and costs as well as environmental support of the base and facilities.
Provide technical advice on facility and infrastructure requirements and environmental compliance of varying complexity in support of the 11CES at JBAB.
