About The Position
The Engineering Technician will provide technical, field, drafting, data collection, and engineering support for USACE projects. This role is on-site and will support public infrastructure projects through construction inspection and compliance services.
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical education, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, inspection, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Technical documentation skills.
- Field data collection skills.
- Engineering support skills.
- Drawing interpretation skills.
- AutoCAD skills.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- USACE experience preferred.
- GIS experience preferred.
- Surveying experience preferred.
- Inspection experience preferred.
- Construction documentation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with field investigations and technical data collection.
- Prepare and update drawings, sketches, and technical records.
- Perform measurements, inspections, and documentation.
- Support quantity calculations and project reporting.
- Maintain technical files and project databases.
