About The Position

Provide technician support to the Navy client. Repair and troubleshoot hardware, software, fiber-optics, and mechanical equipment from multiple vendors both on shore and aboard ships. Apply working knowledge of common hand tools and use tools and equipment to assemble and troubleshoot parts, pieces, and products in an operational environment. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable safety, security, and quality standards. Operate a forklift, operate a crane, perform soldering, and perform maintenance.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in an engineering, mechanical, or production environment
Ability to work with common hand tools
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support fleet operations
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a CPR / AED Certification within 90 days of start date
Ability to obtain a J-STD-001 Soldering Certification within 180 days of start date
Ability to obtain a 6K Forklift License within 180 days of start date
Ability to obtain a Category 3 Crane Qualification Certification within 180 days of start date

Experience using OOMA
Secret clearance
Completion of ESD Training
Completion of Crane Riggers Course
Completion of the 6000 1300 KITCO Certified Military Aviation Fiber-Optics Course
CPR / AED Certification

Category 3 Crane Qualification Certification
