About The Position

As an Engineering Technician, you will assist in field and laboratory testing, data collection, and reporting for geotechnical and soil engineering projects. No prior experience is required—our team will provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you build a rewarding career in civil engineering.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Comfortable lifting and transporting equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt testing following industry standards.
Assist in soil sampling, compaction testing, and foundation inspections.
Work with project engineers and clients to ensure compliance with specifications.
Perform basic lab tests on soil, aggregate, and construction materials.
Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
Assist in preparing field reports, logs, and documentation.
Enter data into company systems and support engineers with analysis.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
