About The Position

AGCO is currently seeking a Durability Technician to join our Test Engineering team in Round Lake, MN. The Durability Technician will participate in the development and implementation of the product test programs. Additionally, the Durability Technician will work on testing any component of the AGCO products with design responsibility in Jackson, including planters, sprayers, tractors, and fertilizer spreaders. The Durability Technician will also contribute to the development of testing concepts, standards, facility improvements, and practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate equipment & machinery
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with steel welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and understand prints and schematics.
  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Working hands-on with test equipment, Building and tearing down test fixtures.
  • Running hydraulic hoses and electrical cables, Bolting steel to T-slot plates.
  • Welding and steel fabrication and troubleshooting wiring harnesses and electrical connections.
  • Work hand in hand with the durability of test engineers to test components.
  • Work with design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and the program team to develop a world class product.
