About The Position

Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR system cabling to be installed into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC) to include: CVN, LHA, LPD, TAO, TATS class ships. Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits. Assembling RF, Fiber, network, serial, MIL-spec, and power connector and cable assemblies according to cable run sheets, parts lists, assembly instructions/procedures, and assembly drawings. Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
0-2 years of work experience
Ability to perform daily assigned tasks with direct supervision
Ability to perform basic computer tasks and use applications such as Outlook, Adobe Reader, and WTE
Ability to read and interpret drawings (physical or digital)
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret level

Nice To Haves

Understanding of multiple standards such as: IPC-620, Mil-STD-2003-5B
