We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician to join our manufacturing team. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform fine hand work under a microscope
  • Experience with equipment and furnace setup
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and prints
  • Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques
  • Ability to perform thermal stress testing and operate related equipment
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Familiarity with QMS standards and procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, mathematical and communication skills
  • Familiarity with small parts assembly
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and maintain a notebook on processes and results
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Responsibilities

  • Perform fine hand work under a microscope to inspect and verify component details
  • Conduct ABAS navigation to accurately locate and assess parts
  • Inspect parts for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Set up equipment and furnaces for manufacturing and testing processes
  • Handle documentation accurately, maintaining detailed records of inspections and procedures
  • Read and interpret print drawings and technical specifications
  • Conduct mechanical inspections to verify part integrity and specifications
  • Perform part cleaning procedures as required
  • Execute thermal stress tests and operate related equipment
  • Familiarize and comply with Sinclair’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements as they relate to engineering and manufacturing departments
