Requirements

  • Ensures standards set by JCAHO, NFPA, state and local codes.
  • Expedites operations of department.
  • Scheduling work priorities.
  • Performing assigned work tasks.
  • Completing service requests/preventive maintenance.
  • Maintaining proper on-the-job conduct.
  • Performing and completing special projects/assignments.
  • Attending scheduled/required meetings.
  • May read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications.
  • May estimate cost/purchase materials.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment (according to SAMM Program).
  • Dismantles equipment and devices to clean, repair, and install new parts using various tools, ladders, etc.
  • Completes Service Request forms upon completion of services and repairs.
