About The Position

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Engineering Technician – Level 1 or Level 2 to join our team in Gilbert, AZ. This position entails the manufacture of aerospace thermal blankets, comprised of thin, fragile films sewn and taped together. Working in the Multi-Layer Insulation lab (MLI). The Manufacturing Technician should be capable and experienced in working in a broad-based manufacturing environment. Technician will work with a team of several people including Manufacturing Engineers and Production Planners. This position will report to an Operations Manager. Other duties as assigned. This position can be filled at either a Level 1 or Level 2.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience (for Level 1).
No clearance required to start.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office products and process documentation.
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience (for Level 2).
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

Aerospace Industry manufacturing experience
Experience with sewing machines or textile industries
Experience with TipQA, Costpoint, Windchill, MES, Solumina, COGNOS, or other ERP and enterprise software
Active TS/SCI clearance
