Requirements
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bridge inspections, structural evaluations, and documentation of conditions
- Collect measurements, sketches, and photographs for inspection reports
- Learn technical procedures related to bridge safety, damage identification, and inspection standards
- Help prepare reports, complete calculations, and maintain project records
- Support the upkeep of inspection tools, materials, and related equipment
- Work with supervisors, inspectors, and other agencies to support project goals
