About The Position

Assists the Director of Engineering with the maintenance of the entire facilities operation. Assists in maintaining Clubhouse facilities and equipment by maintaining a proactive maintenance approach, responding to emergencies and supporting the building’s operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of power tools.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals and age ranges.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a highly fluid and dynamic environment.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions.

  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, and evening/late evening hours as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.
  • General physical activities.
  • Work involves long periods of walking, standing, use of arms and legs, and movement of entire body.
  • Work includes climbing; lifting; balancing; walking; stooping; pulling and pushing; kneeling, stooping, and bending; and safely lifting and carrying items up to 75 pounds.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
  • Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Work involves walking on uneven and slippery surfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • One year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) required by Club’s PM procedures.
  • Provides support for events and special functions.
  • Sets up and tears down equipment for events.
  • Assists with setting up event spaces including moving furniture and AV equipment.
  • Repairs small motors.
  • Replaces filters, light bulbs and other consumables as part of routine maintenance.
  • Reports on the condition of building systems including any identified issues or needs for future repair.
  • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Engineering.
  • Performs basic maintenance.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
