About The Position

An Engineering Technician to support III-V semiconductor production in the photolithography section of a clean room fab. The candidate responsibilities include lot disposition, first response to quality events, review of SPC trends, training and mentoring of manufacturing technicians, early identification of potential problems, and implementation of countermeasures to enable uninterrupted production. The candidate will work closely with Photolithography Process engineers to learn and implement new procedures in his/her shift, including transfer of new products and processes. The candidate will collect data from measurements on lots and from analytical inspection tools, summarize it, and communicate findings to Engineering team. Work collaboratively with the team to help reduce variability and improve production processes. Apply lean techniques to simplify work and reduce cycle time. Dial processes to target when required.

Requirements

  • Expected knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to solve problems independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well with others from all disciplines of the Company is expected.
  • Experience tabulating and plotting data and identifying trends.
  • Excellent written technical documentation and communication.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and to execute plans with minimal guidance.
  • Able to initiate troubleshooting of production issues, including working together with manufacturing and equipment technicians when needed, and recommend solutions.
  • Previous experience with using analytical tools like SEMs, profilometers, overlay measurement tools, etc.
  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • 3+ years of semiconductor fab experience.
  • U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.
