FEDITC is seeking an Engineering Technician, Level 3 to work in Elgin, OK. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations
  • High school diploma or equivalent education, an associate's degree in a technical science field or some classes in engineering at an accredited university
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the PM SPHS onsite Production Lead.
  • Track the PIM/PAL/Fielded Army Aviation (FAA) day-to-day status of potential GFM line stoppers and critical shortage parts with special interest focused on resolving integration, schedule, quality, manufacturing, and production program management issues between Elgin/ANAD/VUOC, PM SPHS, TACOM Item Managers, DLA, Service Supply Activities, and British Aerospace Engineering (BAE).
  • Track vehicle Final Inspection Record (FIR) compliance, DD250 acceptance, and the delivery of systems to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, for fire control testing.
  • Track part shortages identified during field inspections, vehicle disassembly, and repair processes at ANAD/VUOC and provide status of requisitions for those part shortages and assemblies shipped to and from vendors for repair and/or upgrade in support of production programs at ANAD/VUOC and BAE Systems.
  • Communicate program GFM availability and condition code status as observed at Elgin/ANAD/VUOC.
  • Participate in the PIM Production IPT weekly meetings to discuss issues with SPHS, BAE, ANAD and other affected Government agencies. (CDRL A011)
