We are seeking an Engineering Technician IV (30084) who will support the assessment, modification, overhaul, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of fielded EW systems. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties: This role requires in-person support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) years of experience in the duties listed above OR Associates degree with four (4) years of experience.
  • Skilled in performing technical tasks (ex. cable assembly, soldering, electro-mechanical assembly, etc.)
  • Demonstrates understanding of production and engineering documentation (drawings, schematics, BOMs, test procedures etc.).
  • Demonstrates the ability to define and implement process improvements and take leadership roles in specific task areas.
  • Demonstrated understanding of interfacing processes.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing and evaluation of EW systems, subsystems, equipment and components.
  • Routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing.
  • In-line repair and testing.
  • Operation of test equipment.
  • Coordination of test schedules.
  • Preparing inputs for test plans.
  • Reviewing test plans and procedures.
  • Conducting or monitoring system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
  • Adjusting units under test.
  • Analyzing test results.
  • Determining valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
  • Preparing formal reports and related tasks required for life cycle support.
