About The Position

Provide technical support for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch to include performing tasks such as assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment. This position is for 2nd shift. Work schedule: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. EST.

Requirements

  • Assemble, install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing.
  • Perform in-line repair and testing.
  • Operate test equipment.
  • Coordinate test schedules.
  • Prepare inputs for test plans.
  • Review test plans and procedures.
  • Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
  • Adjust units under test.
  • Analyze test results.
  • Determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
  • Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
  • Collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data.
  • Support engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly.
  • Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts.
  • Develop information concerning previous operational failures and modifications.
  • Use judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seek sources to clarify information.
