About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Engineer Technician IV- C5ISR Test for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands. This position is hybrid and the candidate must live within an hour of Pascagoula, MS. This position is contingent upon award news, anticipated in late 2026/early 2027.

Requirements

• Experience with shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems.
• Ability to utilize specialized test equipment.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of C5ISR systems.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, and layouts.
• Proficiency with Autocad and PDF formats.
• Experience in performing testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions.
• Experience preparing engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, development, and execution of stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution for shipboard C5ISR systems.
• Utilizes specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing.
• Works with the multidisciplinary technical team supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of C5ISR systems.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts using Autocad and PDF formats to perform testing, checkout and trouble shooting functions.
• Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).
