Responsibilities

  • Support new product launches by executing mold trials, process validations, and trial documentation activities.
  • Assist with mold setups, automation setups, tooling preparation, and production changeovers to support manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot molding processes, robots, hot runner controls, molds, and auxiliary equipment to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality during trials and production runs, communicating concerns to engineering and quality teams.
  • Package and submit trial samples for laboratory assessment and validation review.
  • Adjust molding processes within approved limits to maintain product specifications and reduce scrap.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineers to support troubleshooting and implementation of automation systems.
  • Submit work orders for preventive maintenance, tooling repairs, and equipment servicing to support operational uptime.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives to maintain safe, clean, and efficient production environments.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams regarding tooling performance, manufacturability, automation functionality, and process improvements.
  • Assist with the review and development of standard operating procedures related to tooling, automation, and launch activities.
  • Communicate production status updates, startup readiness, and operational concerns with Shift Leads and production teams.
